Experiencing problems with generational communication challenges with the workforce?  In this interactive presentation, WE shows how members can increase their generational quotient and reduce the misunderstandings that abound with four generations in the workplace together. Miscommunication is often an overlooked culprit in organizations not maximizing their potential.

Key ideas:

bullet Defining the generational mix with Silents, Baby Boomers, Gen X, and Gen Y
bullet Exploring a historical timeline that explains what has shaped each generation's beliefs, behaviors, values, and attitudes
bullet Discussing the consequences of four generations in the workplace
bullet Debunking seven myths in the workplace
bullet Sharing best practices to decrease generational conflict, create better communication, and develop REAL-ationships

Amongst the activities, participants will organize into generational groups, share experiences as a generation, and practice communication skills.

Value to participants: Participants will leave with a better understanding of why each generation thinks the way they do, how to create better ways to communicate and achieve results, and how to shape a more unified culture which promotes understanding, communication, productivity, and innovation.

The takeaways include a generational timeline, exercises members can use in their companies to break down barriers and a resource list.
